Community Mediation
Many of the problems that Animal Services, Code Enforcement and Law Enforcement deal with are a result of problems between neighbors. Even when government entities get involved and force a solution, it doesn’t mean the conflict goes away. So in the 2008 budget Mesa County invested in a Community Mediation Program. This program, which just kicked off last week, uses volunteer mediators from the community to help end the conflict between neighbors.
